"My daughter drives a 2012 Subaru Impreza Limited.  I came to find out that there is a Georgia law that addresses "diminished value" following an automobile accident. ​ I contacted the insurance company of the party at fault, they were prepared to issue my daughter a check for $192.00. This was what they estimated the diminished value her Subaru should be following an eight-thousand-dollar repair.  This didn't seem like a fair deal to me.  I was referred to Dempsey Appraisal Service. ​ I hired Dempsey Appraisal Service for a very reasonable flat fee. Jonathan Dempsey contacted the insurance company that made the low offer and negotiated with them providing multiple sources of documentation to support a higher settlement.  After weeks of going back and forth the amount of the final settlement agreed upon was $1,750. (more than nine times higher than the first offer).  Hopefully I'll never need to go through this again but in the event that I do, Jonathan Dempsey will be the person I call.  He was totally professional, kept me informed via email through every step of the process, and also spoke with me in a way that made me feel that my case was as important to him as any he had ever worked on.
